My earliest happy memories are of the smell of crayons and playdoh and the joy of creating! I was blessed with a mother that nurtured that creativity and enrolled me in every opportunity she could find for me to learn.
I chose to be a stay at home mother when my children were little and that gave me the time and freedom to continue exploring my creativity. From the richness of that time sprang my career in the gift ware and home decor industries. I have had the privilege of designing products with my art for about 50 different manufacturers over the years. It’s a great deal of fun and very challenging work.
I am a water color artist and graphic designer. My art is decidedly to the feminine side, with a touch of elegance and sophistication. I love exploring new color palettes and designs and Zazzle has become the perfect “playground” for me to test out my new ideas.
It’s hard to believe I’ve only known about Zazzle for about a year and a half now. A friend told me about Zazzle after asking if she would be allowed to use my digital clip art kits here (the answer to that question was no). After exploring the site and purchasing a few of the products to verify the quality I was off and running. Since then I’ve been blessed to open 7 or 8 stores and to fill my days with building a business that I control rather than being subject to the whims of the industry. It’s such fun and I have met some of the nicest people along the way!

This business card advertises violin lessons. The front presents a classical still life of an elegant old violin scroll. This graceful instrument is essentially a hollow wooden box with rounded ends, two graceful f holes and a narrow center. The four sets of strings extend from a string holder at the bottom of the body over a raised bridge to the end of the narrow neck, or fingerboard where the four strings are inserted into a pegbox and are held there with pegs. The pegs are used to tune the violin. When the bow is drawn across the strings on the body of the violin it produces incredible, magical music! The gorgeous golden brown, almost orange tones are set off by graceful black velvet fabric. The reverse has the pertinent text. All text can be customized to suit your personal situation.
